Biometric data consent.
Photos you upload to Weight Commit may contain biometric data, specifically the geometry of your face if your face is visible in the frame. Several state and international privacy laws classify this kind of data as sensitive, and we treat it that way regardless of where you live.
WHAT WE COLLECT. Photographs you choose to upload, which may contain face geometry. We do not run face recognition. We do not derive face templates. We do not train AI on your photos.
SPECIFIC PURPOSE. Visual progress tracking, visible only to you in your private timeline within Weight Commit. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.
RETENTION PERIOD. We retain photos until you delete them or close your account. After account closure, all photos are purged from storage within 30 days.
NO SALE, NO SHARING, NO AI TRAINING. We will never sell, license, share, or otherwise transfer your photos to any third party. We will never use your photos to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model.
SECURITY. Photos are stored privately on a per-account basis and encrypted at rest and in transit. Every viewing link is single-use and expires within an hour. Photos cannot be accessed by anyone other than you, including by URL guess.
REVOCATION. You may revoke this consent at any time from Settings then Privacy. Revocation triggers full deletion of all uploaded photos within 30 days.
You will not be required to upload photos to use Weight Commit. This consent governs only the photo feature. All other features remain available without it.
